Redwoods Rural Health Center in spotlight
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) recently announced Redwoods Rural Health Center of Redway was one of 25 practices statewide to earn the NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long‐term relationships with patients and family members. NCQA standards align with the Joint Principles of the Patient-Centered Medical Home established by the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Osteopathic Association.
NCQA’s program is the most widely-adopted PCMH model in the country. One in six eligible physicians in the United States practices in an NCQA-Recognized PCMH.
Dancing in your socks
You can dance your socks off at the Sock Hop on Friday, Feb. 16, 7-10 p.m. with Deejay Little Rock providing the music.
Wear your best socks, and bring some free ones too for the sockless and add your shine to the newly burnished floor of the recently opened Respite Center in Redway housed in the A-Frame on Briceland Road across from Redway Feed. The Center will continue the work of the old Garberville Bookstore as a human resource and service center.
Give yourself a break and boogie in your socks.
This is a benefit for the Epling/Hurst Respite Center, a project of CHILL.
